Suicide and Public Health Researcher joins JKBF Board

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Lorann Stallones has joined our Board of Directors, and we look forward to her contributions to our mission. Lorann has a background in cultural anthropology, public health, and epidemiology and is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at Colorado School of Public Health and in the Department of Psychology at Colorado State University.  Dr. Stallones was the founding director of the MPH program of the Colorado School of Public Health at Colorado State, and has published on a variety of health, mental health, and public health topics, including suicide, with a focus on rural and farming populations. Lorann brings both professional expertise and personal commitment to the foundation’s mission, having lost an adult son to suicide in 2010. Welcome Lorann!
